A runny nose is one of the major symptoms of common cold and also of allergies like hay fever. But a runny nose while eating sometimes is a little different from usual Rhinorrhea. The condition of a runny nose while eating is called Gustatory Rhinorrhea. While we eat, the autonomic nervous system gets stimulated and it causes the release of the compound known as acetylcholine, which increases production of salive, stomach acid and nasal mucus. Usually, if the meal is spicy, our nose runs more.
The practice of setting 10:10 time started in 1920. Analog watches as well as clocks are often marketed showing a display time of approximately 10:09 or 10:10 because this creates a visually pleasing smile-like face on upper half of the watch. In addition to enclosing the manufacturer's name.
Not all cats hate water. In fact, some cats love it. Cat species native to hot areas seem to enjoy water, whereas their counterparts from cold areas aren't so fond of the wet stuff. Some veterinary professors suggest that water damages the ability of a cat's fur to insulate the animal against cold. This would explain why cold-weather cats don't like water - it only makes them colder. But hot-weather cats don't have this problem.
When a plant grows, it produces certain essential oils that decompose to form volatile oils. These oils are usually present in petals but they can also be found in fruits, leaves, barks and seeds. When the oil evaporates,
Almost everyone has a deeply intrinsic need for the emotional release, which singing provides. Human sound is the mind resonating through the instrument of the body. Conceived and evolved as one indivisible unit,
When it was first formed, the Moon was probably spinning rapidly. But the Earth's gravitational pull has slowed it down. The Moon now turns on its axis in the same time that it takes to orbit around the Earth. This means that the same face is always pointing inwards, towards the Earth.
However, the Moon's surface does appear to swing or 'liberate' to and fro by a small amount. This is caused by its elliptical orbit. It moves fastest when nearest to the Earth, but its speed of rotation does not change so the two get out of step. Yawning is an involuntary action that causes us to open our mouths wide and breathe in deeply. We yawn when oxygen levels in our lungs become low. Studies show that during normal breathing we don't use anywhere near lung capacity. The air sacs or alveoli needs fresh air or else they tend to stiffen up a bit. Therefore it is believed that the brain prompts the body to either sigh or take a yawn to get more air into the lungs.
Climate and green house gases exist naturally in the atmosphere. But over the past century, the percentage of these gases has been increasing. The main reason for this is why burning of fossils fuels, such as coal, oil and natural gases for transport, and other man made needs. Burning releases carbon into the atmosphere that has been stored underground for millions of years. An enormous demand for electricity as another causes.
The Root of every strand of hair is surrounded by a tube of tissue under the skin that is called the hair follicle. Each follicle contains pigment cells. These cells continuously produce a chemical called melanin that gives the growing shaft of hair its color. As we got older, the pigment cells in our hair follicles gradually die. When there are fewer pigment cells in a hair follicle, that stand of hair will no longer contain as much melanin and will become a more transparent color - like grey, silver or white-as it grows.
